Time for a healthy snack

With a hectic schedule, it's hard to fit in all of your meals in a healthy way. I start off everyday eating fruit and yogurt for breakfast. Then through out the day my meals get worse. I try to pick up quick meals in between my job, classes, homework, and hanging out with friends, but it's harder than you would think.

When you are really busy it's very important to eat healthy. Eating healthy actually gives you energy to go on with the rest of your day. Fries and other unhealthy foods will give you a quick boost, but not enough energy to last you all day. I will admit, it is hard to find healthy snacks.

On the website, Smart Snacking, they explain how you can judge which foods are healthy and which are not. They say not to judge the health content by just looking at the box. Even if it says pure, low-fat, or high in nutrients, it doesn't mean its good for you. To find what is good for you make sure you check the back labels.

Quick, healthy snacks include such things as peanut butter sandwiches on wheat bread or "ants on a log." Ants on a log is celery with peanut butter on it. It also has raisins on top. These snacks will help you finish your day with energy and help you feel better about yourself by eating healthy. I hope these healthy snack tips help in the future when you start to grab those fries!
